All is not well between the Chopras- Priyanka, Parineeti, Meera? New Delhi: There is absolutely no place for sibling rivalry between Priyanka Chopra and her cousin Parineeti. But the two actresses seem to have clear reservations in mixing with their distant cousin, Meera because of her troubled past!


According to a tabloid, South sensation Meera aka Nila, who has bagged two Bollywood projects, had earlier made headlines for allegedly being involved in a murder case of a woman. Meera is believed to have been in a relationship with the woman’s husband.

The controversial actress was also allegedly involved in a MMS scandal in 2009.

Priyanka and Parineeti are reportedly keeping a safe distance from Meera. The controversies resulted in Meera losing out on plum film offers and even had to change her name from Nila to Meera. Ultimately, she had to leave the South industry to look for work elsewhere. For this reason, her other cousins in Bollywood want to steer clear of her,” the tabloid quoted source as saying.

However, Meera has a different story to tell.

“We are not really closely related and that is the reason why we are not in touch with each other,” Meera said.
